The UN General Assembly has suspended Libya from the UN Human Rights Council in response to the Libyan authorities’ gross and systematic human rights violations against the country’s own population. Read more

Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre is visiting Egypt from 28 February to 2 March. He will have talks with a whole range of representatives of the authorities, opposition parties, political youth groups and key analysts.
