General
Britt T B Brestrup, at present Head of Mission -Temporary International Presence in Hebron. Her international experience covers traditional peacekeeping as well as observer- and civil humanitarian missions in the Middle East and in Europe. Brestrup served for one year as a fellow at the UN programme at The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, mainly with focus on the Middle East and the Balkans in the frame of NATO, PfP, OSCE and UN. She gave lectures on the history of Balkan for the Norwegian contributing personnel in BIH 1995.
She was Senior National Representative (SNR) of the Norwegian Observers in Iraq, Norwegian troops in NHQSa and EUFOR in Bosnia Herzegovina, as well as in KFOR in Kosovo.
Brestrup has successfully been a mentor and coach for selected personnel in the Armed Forces for three years.

In addition to chairing a number of seminars on international operations, she has also contributed with papers and lectures on the subject in some European countries.
