Bilateral trade Norway - Israel

Trade between Israel and Norway decreased during the second intifada, but has since recovered. Preliminary estimates suggest that bilateral trade between Israel and Norway increased for the third consecutive year in 2006, when total Norwegian exports to Israel exceeded NOK 560 million, and total imports amounted to approximately NOK 650 million.

Main export commodities include fish, seafood and paper, as well as scientific instruments and electrical equipment. Norwegian imports from Israel centre on agricultural commodities, machines and transport vehicles. Sale of fruit and vegetables from Israel to Norway reaches its annual peak during the winter months.

Total exports/imports:

2007: 501/318 (Jan-Sept)

2006: 560/649

2005: 429/563

2004: 428/494
