Visa handling fee must be paid upon submission of the application:
Visa – short stay (1 - 90 days):
Multiple entry visa, valid 1 - 5 years:
Exempted from visa fees as of 1.1.2007: - Children under the age of 6
- School pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training, and
- Researchers from third countries travelling in the Schengen-territory for scientific purposes, as per specific rules.
Until 1 January 2008, the visa fee for nationals of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine will still be EURO 35.
